Round water hyacinth basket with lid, multi-functional decoration

This product is a round, lidded basket crafted from water hyacinth. Both the lid and the basket body are constructed using a concentric spiral weaving technique. The water hyacinth stems are first woven into strips, coiled to form a circular base, and then woven vertically to create the side walls; once the desired height is reached, the rim is finished, and a separate lid is crafted. The rim of the lid is slightly wider than the basket’s opening, and a small woven grass ring is incorporated into the top of the lid to facilitate easy opening. It features a natural light brown color. This basket is ideal for organizing miscellaneous items on a living room coffee table, storing scarves and gloves inside a wardrobe, holding bedtime reading material on a bedroom nightstand, keeping dry bath bombs and bath salts in the bathroom, or storing small items like laundry soap in the laundry room. The lidded design helps prevent dust accumulation, and the basket can also be inverted and used as a temporary seat cushion.
