This product is a square, lidded woven grass box crafted from corn husks or wheat straw. The corn husks are processed into fine strips and woven into the box body using a “one-over-one” plain weave pattern; the lid is woven using the same technique, with its dimensions slightly exceeding those of the box body to ensure a proper fit. A small loop is woven into the center of the lid to facilitate easy opening. Featuring a natural light-yellow hue, the box can be optionally fitted with a fabric lining. It is ideal for home organization: storing jewelry and hair accessories on a dressing table, stationery on a desk, glasses and hand cream on a bedside table, or tea bags in a kitchen drawer. The lidded design keeps contents dust-free while adding an aesthetic touch. During the hand-weaving process, particular attention is paid to ensuring the vertical alignment of the box’s four corners and the flatness of the lid.
