Once peeled, the willow wicker reveals a pale yellow tone; after being soaked in water to soften, it is hand-bent to form the structural framework for the base and corners. The side walls are woven in concentric rounds using thinner wicker strands, with seagrass interwoven into the gaps to add decorative flair. The design features an open top with no lid. The three baskets vary slightly in size and can be nested inside one another for compact storage.
